Pros

It was a easy job. Lots of friendly people and kids. Watching the parents buy so many toys. It was a nice environment.

Cons

My job was only seasonal.

Generally Fun Environment, But Strict Rules and Employers

Pros

Love vast majority of the customers that come in, most of staff is nice to each other; employees very willing to step in and help if you're struggling with something.

Cons

Standing for very long periods of time without respite, difficult sales quotas to fill, management very untrusting of employees (eg. Cashiers cannot break even a $1 for a customer without help from manager since they hold register keys; God help you if you mess something up), very strictly timed interactions with customers (eg. Must bag customers' items in less than a minute; quantity and/or size of items isn't accounted for, and people get fired if they get too many low grades).
