Pros
- Campus is great w/a lot of resources. - Pay and bonuses competitive with other companies. - Work/life balance is the best I've experienced anywhere. - No long hours, little pressure from deadlines.
Cons
- Systems are sub-par given the size of the company. - Politics reign supreme here. You will not get anywhere unless you play the political game and play it better than the others. Promotions are given to people not based entirely on merit. Merit is only 20% of it here. You won't be recognized for good work unless you're a good sweet talker. - Communication across departments is pretty bad. You can't get things done without making multiple calls. - Worst part of TRU is the lack of transparency. Upper management is very secretive about their plans going forward and the company's performance overall.
