Still has a startup feel. You can easily maneuver your career horizontally. You get a pat on the back for a good job.

Cons

Still has a startup feel. You can only maneuver your career horizontally. Vertical advancements only reserved for friends and family. Does not have a yearly performance evaluation so don't expect pay increases. You'll have to beg for it. Boast about a new hire, but fails to mention the two that just walked out. Lost a lot of talented engineers, but still takes credit as though they are still there.

Pros

Trace3 specializes in acquiring talent, not companies. They find the best, recruit the crap out of them and get them onboard. They learned early on that companies don't have loyalty to logos / companies, they have loyalty to people. They learn quickly from their mistakes and don't keep going down a path just to save face .. they will correct the issues quickly and swiftly.

Cons

Due to the fact they adjust things a lot, it can be disconcerting to some people. If change scares you, Trace3 is not the place you want to be.

-Creative and open atmosphere where people are passionate and results-oriented -Fast paced entrepreneurial nature, plenty of autonomy to do what it takes to succeed -Very open and candid about strengths and weaknesses - probably the least amount of "politics" i've ever seen at a company. VERY open to change

Cons

-Lack of internal systems and process (it's being fixed) -massive income inequality can exist between sales teams and others causing unnatural career paths -the rapid pace of change can be discomforting for some
