      Pros

      The company has strong values. However, they try to substitute working in a good culture for appropriate compensation, benefits, and lack of advancement opportunities.

      Cons

      Tractor Supply is NOT the place to work if you are ambitious, well-educated, and seeking merit-based compensation. They hire middle-of-the-road candidates with good values from mediocre schools so they can underpay them. They do not value education or previous accomplishments.

      Pros

      Free bag of dog food when you're hired

      Cons

      Everybody seemed nice enough at the interview, but they only give you 2 days of computer training that did next to nothing to prepare employees for the actual job. This is if you're not pulled off of it to work the sales floor. After the 2 days, you're thrown to the wolves and have to fend for yourself. The customer base expects people to know the job inside and out, and that's hard when you're new. I quit after one day on the floor. The company is also extremely disorganized and if at all possible, avoid it.
