Pros

-Usually pays above state's minimum wage -You might make some friends with coworkers -Health benefits are above average and usable + health insurance comes with a gym membership -20% discount on all purchases (not alchohol)

Cons

Management and company direction: -Overall, the job is significantly more stressful than necessary, and this appears to be consistent across stores -Crew is treated primarily as productivity drivers, with efficiency prioritized over realistic workload expectations or individual capacity. -High-control management style limits employee autonomy, particularly in situations that require quick decision-making -Built-in inefficiencies (e.g.: difficulty accessing a mate when needed) shift responsibility and consequences onto crew members -Procedural expectations are often inconsistent or unclear, requiring employees to constantly adapt to different standards depending on who is managing -High level of visibility and ongoing evaluation creates pressure without corresponding clarity on what “performing well” actually means -Positive feedback is rare (often completely absent) making it difficult to know when expectations are being met -Management is highly corrective, which over time feels discouraging rather than supportive. Effort and work ethic are not consistently recognized, either in performance evaluations or in day-to-day work
