Didn't always get the schedule I wanted, but I could usually make it work.

I cannot recommend working at the VB Boulevard location. While I understand retail is demanding, the management culture here is toxic, retaliatory, and unprofessional. Retaliation: If you use your sick time, expect your hours to be cut immediately. • Lack of Empathy: I was hospitalized for a medical emergency and was removed from the schedule without so much as a check-in to see if I was okay. • Hostile Environment: I have witnessed managers make unprofessional comments about employees' outside lives and drive staff to tears. Multiple coworkers have quit because their stated availability was ignored. If you are not their star employee who ticks off every box, your requests will be put on the backend. Do not be fooled by the brand's reputation; the values preached by the company are not practiced by the leadership at this location. If you are looking for a supportive work environment, this is not it.
