Poor culture, zero support

Pros

Full time remote, unfortunately not much else

Cons

I was brought over to Traliant through a company buyout and the immediate change in culture was drastic unfortunately. The game here is quantity over quality. I was put into a role with zero support or documentation. Extremely tight deadlines due to overcommitments to clients and requiring the lowest costs possible to make it happen. Expect to receive emails from all hours of evening from leadership. They will say that they don't want you to work extra hours but they will also not provide any support to actually make that possible. There are some seriously wonderful and talented people working here but they was losing them at high rates due to burn out. There is also an incredible lack of diversity in leadership for a company that specializes in DEI training.

Pros

Remote. Great, hard working people.

Cons

In 2023, there was a CEO change and after this change, the culture shifted dramatically. Early Friday’s, no meeting days, the cultural norm of not emailing nights and weekends was gone. The HR team does a phenomenal job of trying to create a great culture but this doesn’t fit with the CEOs strategy. Therefore, events that are held are now poorly attended because people are already working nights and weekends in an attempt to keep their head above water. Although the company acquired 2 other companies, headcount did not grow. We took an employee survey over two months ago and were encouraged to do so (daily). Where are the results? What is leadship hiding? Are they going to take any action to make the work life better for employees? It is unfair to cast the entire leadership team in the same way when clearly the CEO is a hack placed in charge by the PE firm. So the rating below is about him. If I had rated this place before he joined, culture and values, work/life balance, and senior management would have been rated much higher. In terms of career opportunities, if you’re cheerfully willing to work at all hours and sacrifice your mental and physical health, this is the place for you.

Company has gone downhill

Pros

Good benefits, PTO, and paid holidays.

Cons

Company moral is low after several layoffs and those who remain left to pick up the slack. AI and offshore are more important now than a positive company culture. Advancement is practically non-existent for most roles. Overtime is not allowed, but you're also expected to meet impossible deadlines.
