      Pros

      This company has well respected brands such as Trane, Schlage, and American Standard. It has also been in existence for 100+ years.

      Cons

      Employee morale is the lowest I have ever seen. Management has not one clue how to lead in an honest, open and effective way and refuses to use their prefrontal cortex in decision making. All decisions are based on who can make the decision maker "feel it". It take more time to CYA than it does to actually get the work done and the corporate bureaucracy rivals the Federal government.

      Pros

      Good benefits - Cell phone, laptop, 6% matching 401k, small pension plan, 3 weeks vacation to start, then goes to 4 after 10 years. Fair Med/Dental package for an ok price

      Cons

      Extremely political - have seen people be fired because the new boss wanted someone different with complete disregard for performance. The only way you will receive a "real" promotion, is if you are willing to move, and oh by the way, the company has a horrible relocation package, yet still expects you to move for them. If you do not wish to move, you will either retire in your current position (if you are lucky), or be let go.

      Pros

      The vast majority of Ingersoll Rand's employees in Dublin are nice, friendly, hard-working, and capable people who are simply trying to get their jobs done to the best of their ability.

      Cons

      Employee turnover is extremely high. There is no support from management at all, just blame and finger-pointing when something goes wrong. The systems barely work. Things are disorganised and chaotic.
