Pros

Great people Great pay and benefits

Cons

Too much red tape to get anything done. Culture was great until a recent management change and then it went horribly wrong. Policy drives everything, even if it doesn't make sense. No care for the employees. Can be let go over simple mistakes. Current manager is a micro-manager. Went from relaxed and casual (love the job type atmosphere) to strict and overbearing in less than 2 months (worse than military as some have put it). Entire teams are looking for new positions elsewhere. Can not trust some in management.

Pros

- They pay and benefits are satisfactory (not great mind you) - The location (next to Union Station, Ogilvie, and Blue Line) is great - Work life balance is decent

Cons

- Extremely political - Extreme red tape and bureaucracy - Very old school (think Man Men the tv show) - Jerks favored for management positions - Technology to do your job is antiquated and presents many barriers to doing good work
