Pros

Exposed to sophisticated techniques and technologies. Allowed to try out new ideas. People were great to work with. Access to high level leadership is possible to promote your ideas if you have your act together.

Cons

Middle management is sometimes disconnected with front-line workers and thus quantity can take precedence over quality. Lots of Excel reports..

Pros

I cannot think of any pros here. Overall a great company.

Cons

Great company if you want to build a career. You will get a lot of meaningful work and learn a lot. Its not a company where work trickles down, everyone does everything hence you learn a lot.

Great Place to work

Pros

-Transunion truly is a great place to work. The people are smart and caring, and the work really does make a difference. -My direct manager is brilliant and has been a huge help as I came from outside of the credit industry -My co-workers are all great people, very driven, and very smart -The company's benefits package is at the top of the industry -They really do seem to be making the right decisions when it comes to acquisitions and expansion plans -There is a huge "compliance mindset here which I respect. With what we do and what we have access to, it's great knowing people really seem to want to make ethical decisions

Cons

-Training in general is sparse. The FCRA/GLBA training is ok, just overly long and verbose, it could be tailored for a wider audience. Nearly everything will be trial by fire, but that's the private sector in general these days. -Lots of people clinging to the "old ways" vs. embracing the change that's inevitably coming
