Pros

Pay has been decent so far

Cons

-slow trucks 65 on pedal 68 on cruise 70 for 45 mins with passing gear -camera reads every speed sign even if it’s not one for you then dings you for speeding -truck slams on breaks if you get within even a second or two in the 12-14 second following window ex:if you get within 10-11 seconds it will slow you down drastically -car can be in exit lane and it will read as if it’s in your lane and start slamming on brakes -only get 34hrs home and they plan you for only allowing 34 hrs home even though I was told if you get in on Friday you expected to leave Sunday get in on Saturday you expected to leave Monday get in early on either day you leave early get in late you leave later in the day -expected time home 5pm -can barely get anyone to answer the phone when you need them -send fuel routes while you driving and nothing alerts you that’s it been sent have rode past my fuel stop several times without knowing -was told I would one in a certain area and wouldn’t go up to the northeast besides a little portion of pa and maybe a spot in nj even was told this by the vp but guess what lie!! - they promise things with inspection bonus etc but you don’t see it if you do expect it to take 2-3weeks

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

If you're considering working for Transco, think twice. During the hiring process, they promised no nights or weekends — that quickly changed once I was on board. Management is extremely heavy-handed and micromanages every little thing, creating a stressful environment. Driver turnover is through the roof, and it's no wonder why. Safety policies are downright ridiculous. Drivers with over five years of spotless service are fired over a first offense — like not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. Zero coaching. Zero second chances. Just gone. It's clear they value "covering themselves" over supporting their team. Bottom line: This company doesn't stand behind its drivers. Don't waste your time unless you like broken promises and walking on eggshells.
