Pros

Flexibility, autonomy, ability to make business decisions without being micro-managed to death.

Cons

Not room for advancement, no women in senior management, too much of the same good old white boys club mentality, absolutely not job security. The SECOND a client sells a property, you are terminated electronically (yes, with an auto- generated Off-Boarding email) and they offer no severance! Way to go Transwestern!!

Pros

National company with some protection due to business lines in other states

Cons

Local leadership does not allow you to communicate with them. They don't provide any kind of support, including simply encouraging professional development- they don't pay for it, don't encourage it, and ignore requests for discussions or conversations about professional growth. They expect participation and responsiveness to non-emergency items while on PTO as well.
