Pros

Immediate supervisors and managers are great. Co-workers are great and create a postive work environment in spite of corporate directives.

Cons

Good Employees do not receive raises for multiple years in a row even though company is trading at an all time high and underwriting profits are good. Directed to be customer focused but workload makes that prohibitive.

Pros

Excellent place to learn. Great for people just out of college. Many smart ambitious people. Lots of things going on. Connecticut is expensive but close to Boston, New York. Lots of things to do outdoors.

Cons

Not much going on inHartford. Work wise, like I said, a good place to start a career but I did not like for where I was in my career. Certain thing lacked common sense.

Pros

Travelers is the most family friendly organization I have ever worked for. I loved that there were many women and young professionals. I really enjoyed the work and would definitely recommend applying while in law school!

Cons

Some of the offices are practice area specific and this could lead to you being pigeon holed into one practice area.
