Pros

I always thought of The Travelers as being a very slow moving company that was resistant to change but that can be a great company to work for during a tough economy. The Travelers stuck with a proven approach which worked for them. The work demands were average. I found coworkers to be very devoted although The St. Paul employees were still adjusting to The Travelers culture.

Cons

The Travelers was not very interested in pleasing the customer which could be frustrating.

Pros

Financially strong company, good benefits, flexible work schedule. Good area for growth and development. Will impart a strong background and skill set if you have proper training.

Cons

Training can be lacking. Support from management may not be available. Busy periods will often lead to over worked staff.
