Not a bad company but they have no idea what work/life balance means

Pros

Freedom to work your own schedule, if you had enough time to actually have space in a schedule. Good people, great pay. Management was actually well rounded but the company writes/maintains too many policies in force compared to the amount of claims adjusters to work them.

Cons

Covered most of it in the cons. Travelers is a great company if they could/would hire the appropriate amount of adjusters for the claim volume

- I liked my home office - Company car and gas that can be used for personal use - Great pay

Cons

- They expect you to be able to meet a customer on their schedule, even when you do not feel safe. - Casual sexism from the customers that some managers would laugh off, even if it made me uncomfortable in the field. - I had a woman co-worker who said that she did not feel comfortable meeting with a customer, by herself at his house at 8 pm. She was written up by upper management for not being flexible enough. - I had a manager refuse to take me home after inspections. He kept trying to get me to go to dinner with him until I told him that I would call my father if he did not take me home. I sent HR an email. Never heard back from HR, but did get an email back from the manager stating that I "misunderstood the situation". I ended up quitting after that.
