Pros
Been working here long enough that the work comes easy. Benefits of course, retirement.
Cons
Management. The way management fills vacancies that is so backwards it’s easy to see why morale is so low. Tend ti make an easy process 10x harder because no one can make a logical decision. Have employees with less tenure, less experience advance over more tenured/experienced ones mainly because theyre the easier controlled employee. So now that employee is in a supervisory role but cant make an independent decision and almost always has to staff it with a higher up. The fact that all employees are required in office 3 days a week even though the job has evolved to a mainly telework position. 16 employees in a unit so can ideally change 3 days a week to 1 or 2 and have good coverage in office (for what reason, im unsure). Would help to allow more telework since the pay doesnt allow for most employees to live within city limits and requires 1+ hour commutes to and from work.
