Pros

There are many positions that you can move around to if your are looking for a change. There is opportunity for promotion. Family oriented and people support one another.

Cons

In the section where I work, little to no room for promotion. Having staffing issues trying to hire qualified or people willing to stick around. This is not a place to come because you need a check, you are going to have to work.

Very stable once you're onboarded

Cons

No merit increases and only occasional cost of living increases. Since I've been here my raises have been offset by rising insurance costs.

Benefits are excellent like health , paid holidays, paid vacations and longevity pay. Also have a great retirement benefit.

Cons

Some people are lazy and should retire and are not willing to change.
