I've highly valued my time working as a poll worker for Travis County for the professional expertise it's brought me, alongside the fair pay and great coworkers/staff.

Cons

If you've got other obligations and can't commit to a full shift, this may be too rigid and inflexible of a position. However, this would probably be less of an issue if there was adequate staffing overall at each polling location.
