Pros
When you think of a treehouse you think of a place where friends come together to play games, create art, tell stories, and lots of laughter. The same could be said for my days working at Tree House Brewing. Working at the Prudential Center has its ups and downs, you deal with a lot of guests and passerby’s that would not typically be the Tree House clientele, but that’s what makes the job so entertaining. Those who are familiar with the brand are emphatic to be seeing their favorite beer in a location that is much closer to where they work/live, and those who aren’t familiar approach you with an attitude of curiosity. The team that I work with at the Prudential Center is not only top notch because of their work ethic and care for the job, but, for lack of a better term, they’re also just badasses. Days are spent either talking with guests at the center court kiosk, where the people watching is better than reality tv, or back at the storefront, where you’re putting the best beer on the planet in a little box and handing it off to happy guests. Especially coming from the service industry, this is exactly the type of environment I needed to be in, and the staff of Tree House Brewing Boston makes every day even better. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a job that I can go to with a smile on my face.
Cons
My fridge is constantly full of Tree House beer and I don’t know where to put my groceries anymore. Ugh, I guess it’s beer for dinner, AGAIN.
