Pros

Decent work like balance, that’s about it.

Cons

Volatile industry right now. Low compensation. Very little opportunity for growth in the St. Louis office. Would be surprised if everything wasn’t consolidated into Oak Brook office soon.

Pros

good pay while it lasted

Cons

Laying off 1/2 the workers in our plant. Lied to me saying my job was safe, then went back on it and said another employee with same hire date was going to stay and me leave just because his randomly given employee id number was one number higher than mine.

Going down-hill fast!

Pros

Good pay, friendly, fun, co-workers, some good managers.

Cons

Since our plant was taken over by Treehouse, management seems to have forgotten that the employees on the plant floor are human. Nobody is quite sure what is going on "upstairs", but we are no longer treated as equals, as once we were, now we are treated like underlings. Equipment is extremely OLD and runs like it. Maintenance is in no rush to fix anything, or there is no money to repair ongoing issues. Short-handed and need to hire more production. Drunk people are allowed to work and drive fork trucks. ( supervisor was quite aware and did nothing about it, though everyone knew and was concerned about their safety) Supervisor constantly asks only the hard workers to take on extra tasks, but lets the "favorites" get away with very little. No asking questions, as it becomes an argument. Information is not shared well. Thank goodness that we are a union plant, as there would be even more game playing from management. LOW morale.
