      A little good a little bit more bad

      Pros

      It's a bike shop job so everyone generally has something in common. Good benefits and great day to day working environment.

      Cons

      Trek shouldn't undermine local bike shops. It really is the antithesis of the culture that made the company what it is. Cycling is a community driven sport and corporate bike shops hinder that on a lot of levels and customers often echo this sentiment. In our world of data driven decision making it often feels like Trek just guesses at what to keep in stock at any given store. They're just really bad at running a retail operation. Pay is subpar for full time employees especially those with technical skills and experience.
