Aggressive sales culture

Pros

This place has great bikes and offers substantial discounts.

Cons

Trek Retail has moved from a customer focused model to a complete focus on the bottom line. It does not seem like the district managers care about the staff in the stores, and limit what the store managers can do to improve their situations.

Pros

Good Discount ESOP and tuition reimbursement. Some people care about the health of the shop and the direction that Trek is going towards.

Cons

They hired the wrong people for higher management and they cut or make anyone miserable they don't like. I was with Trek for 4+ years and I feel like the culture has gone down hill in the past few years they used to care about the well being of the employees because happy employees = more $$$ and now it is different, now we had less people. And that makes most of us not have 2 days off in a row also have more responsibility with no pay increases. If you say no to these you are deemed lazy and stubborn.
