Pros

Every day is a new set of diverse challenges that allows you to use your HR expertise, provide guidance on Employee Relations, HR Compliance, Benefit funding strategies and many other HR efforts. Consulting allows you to interact with the clients on a strategic level and use independent judgement to provide solutions. Work environment is supportive, team oriented; rewards and recognition are given generously and appropriately; most up to date tools and resources are available to allow employees to be successful. No matter how experienced you may be, you will learn every single day! I learn from my internal colleagues as well as my clients.

Cons

If you do your job well, your clients will recognize this and your workload increases. Everyone is very busy due to record growth that the company is experiencing. Systems and processes are being fine-tuned and change and growing pains add a new level of challenge- however, this is a temporary issue. Sometimes, too many people get involved in one situation. With a team of people working in several different locations, you can find that many people are all working on the same client issue and not always communicating effectively.

Pros

I came to TriNet with limited knowledge of many of the processes, and colleagues have always been happy and willing to sit down or call me to explain things. It's great knowing that I will always have my questions answered. Additionally, there are a lot of great perks and incentives for working hard, which makes me excited to continue working here!

Cons

With such a large company, there tends to be a lack of communication between the multiple departments, which can sometimes cause confusion.

Room for Growth, Experience Depends on the Department

Pros

Experience seems to be based on what product, department and team you work in, as the culture is largely driven by direct managers more than Human Resources. In Client Services Department within the "Passport" product, overall great people who work hard to serve and support the clients. The clients are interesting and varied in their goals, workforce and business.

Cons

Internal Human Resources has lots of room for improvement and compared to many of our clients the culture, perks and atmosphere are more straight-laced and cut-back, so maybe not a great fit if you are looking for somewhere with a super jovial atmosphere and lush treatement of employees.
