High pay rate and 100% remote work, which makes up for the disadvantages.

Cons

Strategic decisions are fleeting, no employment contract (everyone works as an external contractor), no job security whatsoever. Very likely to spend your day to day work on old, poorly maintained SW products from the acquired companies. Few opportunities to work on attractive projects with modern tech stacks.
