Pros

Degree of freedom to pursue new ideas. Ideas of course should be in the business domains in which Trimble operate. Good respect among colleagues.

Cons

Operations can be very disbursed and there can be quite a bit of effort duplication. In fairness this problem is on the radar of senior management and looks like this is being tackled.

Pros

Lots of work to do. Challenging work. Easy to take on new opportunities. Always get quarterly bonus. Layoffs are unusual.

Cons

Fundamentally unfair toward employees. No teamwork or respect. Management easy to talk to but won't do anything. Success is often defined as causing others to fail. Silo mentality. Brutal overtime. Unfair distribution of bonuses and stock options. IT department doesn't support your job function.

Pros

The management team at @road was high quality. They listen and really care about their employees. They really had talent for hiring some great people!! I would still be there if Trimble did not buy them.

Cons

One of the main call centers is in India and a lot of complaints. Otherwise no other issues!
