Pros

Room for advancement if you like to "play the game"

Cons

VP's will lie to try to get what they want. Everyone seems out to only cover their own tails and advance no matter who they step on. Traditional company with lots of "untouchables". Meetings about having other meetings. Managers with no management experience.

Pros

6% 401k matching fully vested after 2 years New Maternal and Paternal leave policy, dads or adopting parents get 2 weeks and moms get 12 weeks (I think) fully paid. Trinity pays really well and if oil and gas are going good employees get good bonuses. Vacation policy starting at 14 days for new employees. New office building with all new appliances, desks, and conference rooms.

Cons

Poor work life balance. Layoffs about ever 2 years. 2 large rounds of layoffs in 2020 Lacking diversity in many departments, the CEO touts diversity of thought over actual diverse people. High rate of burnout in younger employees. On Covid-19 there is a weird push to get back in the office, even though employees met metrics while all working from home. The CEO said she would like to see everyone 100% in the office by the end of January despite rising rates of infection in Dallas County. Employees are openly rude to one another. I was told by upper management one of the reasons for little diversity was 'Women don't want to work in rail' our CEO is a woman and the CEO of a major railroad is a woman.

Pros

40 hours per week. Monday thru Friday. Weekends and holidays off. Generous vacation days.

Cons

Once a good manufacturing company. Never made it to great. The good days are over, now that the upper leaders have split up and sold off parts company to cash in for retirement.
