Pros

Some of the best people work here. Not having to worry about lunch is great. Free shuttle from train (though the times should be more accessible.) Flexible work schedule.

Cons

The company has grown so much and it's has obvious growing pains. There have been many re-orgs in the past year to address issues, but problems still exist. Employees are not managed or even paid attention to. No promotion from within. If your boss doesn't care about your team how are you supposed to care about what you do. It's been 6 months since we've had a meeting with the rest of our department.

Pros

You can see by the reviews below, that most of the people say the 'pros' are free lunches....now I don't know about you all, but a free lunch doesn't maketh a great place to work in my book. The fact that TripAdvisor is within the travel space is a pro if you're passionate about travel and I met some nice people there (most of whom have left)

Cons

It's really easy to describe the cons. Patronizing senior management, especially those who can barely keep their head above water and therefore demand the most unreasonable and ridiculous requests (they know who they are)...the motto is 'Speed Wins', but to implement a decent marketing campaign, this isn't always the case. Some well thought out planning and strategy rather than constant tactical activities would actually mean TripAdvisor may produce a decent marketing campaign instead of a quickly thrown together mess. The company used to be a happy place, but it's definitely not one now. As one reviewer pointed out, for so many people to have left the firm during a downturn, there must be something seriously wrong with management.
