WORST HR POLICIES

Pros

Entire HR team needs to be changed. A culture that doesn’t foster sustainability but the company endorses sustainability. The company can be great with the right leadership. What they do is amazing but with the kind of people, especially in the HR, I’m afraid.

Cons

They’re not truthful, not even courteous. No respect for candidates time. Don’t know how to recruit and retain. Tells a lot about the culture since the first screening call. Spot the culture the way the internal recruiter communicates. Get the social cues and save yourself from such work culture.

Pros

Working at Triumvirate has been a very positive experience for me overall. I have been promoted twice, experienced decent salary growth, a significant amount of training and mentoring, and good benefits. I am studying for my Masters degree with the company's tuition reimbursement program. The people are the company's greatest asset - smart, team-oriented, and driven.

Cons

Triumvirate is not perfect. Its biggest weakness is by far work-life balance. Both field and office staff work long hours - more than most companies. The field hours start really early and you often get out late. Executives could do a better job of being more visible and communicative.

Diverse, Challenging and Rewarding Work Environment

Pros

I recently had to rewrite my resume for a training that Triumvirate sent me to. I thought that I would pull out the one that put me through the door here, make a few updates and be done with it. But, in the time I have worked here I have been responsible for such an incredible array of activities I had a difficult time in choosing what to leave out. When I then began to review my employment history I had the realization that I was suddenly a professional in possession of a highly marketable skillset. I had officially grown up. It seems to me that many of the reviews here were written during a time of stressful transition prompted by the recent economic meltdown and subsequent recession. They are valid (too a degree) at the point in time in which they were written. But as of now I will tell you that this company is growing and has a voracious appetite for talent and internal promotion. The people that succeed here are the people that are driven to succeed. Ultimately, employment is an agreement between an individual and an employer. It is the responsibility of both parties to ensure a balanced relationship, and both parties must commit to creating a mutually beneficial environment. When I look around the office I see a very large percentage of employees who began their tenure in the field, who have at every turn, through both challenge and ease owned their work and completed it to the best of their abilities. As I see it, this is the foundation for Triumvirates continuing success.

Cons

This is a hard working place. There is no doubt about that. And if there were one thing that I would fault this company for it would be that the balance between work and life is not often in equilibrium. Operational employees in particular work hard and long hours. It is a place to cut your teeth, a place to build a foundation. Would I like to see a better compensation package? Of course - who wouldn’t? But I have to be realistic in my expectations and I don’t expect a handout. What I do know is that this company demands hard and high level work, and that it is not for everyone. But if you want to work in a place where you will be given the opportunity to grow and develop an array of skills and abilities through hard work and dedication, watch those around you succeed and move forward, and possibly receive recognition through promotion yourself then this is the place for you.
