Nepotism to the max

Pros

They train you to use some good automotive software.

Cons

If you're in the "good old boys club" - if you are a family member or close friend of a manager - then you are all set. The family members of managers barely even work, and everyone else has to pick up the slack. Nepotism will destroy this company. They like to lay off older employees who have higher wages, then hire a bunch of young people who will work for $12-$14/hr. No loyalty. I hear they don't even give a severance package to laid off employees. They also do not diversify their business and rely almost 100% on Ford, who keeps shipping jobs to India and other lower wage countries.

Don't Bother

Pros

Great opportunities to learn some amazing things. Can't beat the benefits. Work to life balance is relatively pretty good. Work consists of mainly Ford Motor projects working with Ford Motor Company employees.

Cons

The nepotism here is insane, you can infer what goes along with that, this is probably the worst I've seen it at any company I've worked for. You will probably be offered below average or lower than below average pay/salary than what the market is currently offering someone with your background or skill set. Younger people with less experience that haven't researched or looked into what they should be making usually fall for this and that's usually the type of employee they bring in. That or they hire someone with zero experience and zero schooling and pay them peanuts because they don’t know any better and heck, it beats flipping burgers. Zero opportunities to advance unless you maybe have been there for 10-20 years or your buddies with someone who works above you. Annual raises/bonuses are laughable at best even if you score on the high end of their reviews, it would take you 10-20 years to end up making what you should have been offered at the start. High employee turnover, most of the above average employees end up leaving once they understand how the company and management operates. Hostile work environment between a lot of employees who have been there for a long time and I’ve seen some younger employees treated terribly or constantly picked on by their older peers.
