Pros

Great people at the SSC, really great culture. CEO and the rest of upper management know everyone's name regardless of who they report to and are always incredibly friendly and engaging. Great environment - as long as you take care of your business and work hard you won't have a problem with anyone. Management is very open to suggestions and criticisms and it is just on the face, they will actually listen and implement change based on what their people are telling them. Overall an great place to work.

Cons

Communication could be better between field team and SSC (HQ) team.

Pros

I have worked for TruckPro for about one year. Store management and personnel are very knowledgeable and respected by local customers. Truckpro customer service with on time deliveries including special orders sets an industry standard.

Cons

Without a mechanical background there is no advancement opportunity. With a mechanical background advancement opportunities are very limited. Payscale is very low in any position.

Pros

Nationwide company that allows people at the store level to be able to transfer if needed.

Cons

They are not consistent as to how they treat their employees. It depends on who you are. The benefits to the employees are not the best. They are always trying to see what else they can remove as a benefit. To the extent that when you leave, your health insurance is cut off that last day instead of the end of the month like every other employer I have worked for. Not very sensitive.
