Pros

The managers are really awesome and understanding. The staff are people you actually would grab beers with even after leaving the company. The food will make you lose weight. It's actually really clean and organized compared to the other 4 restaurants I've worked in the past-- like really clean.

Cons

Not really a con but my coworkers were so motivated to work there, a lot of them try to be the first to greet a table that is a free-for-all type situation. And they're really good at balancing 8 tables at a time and consequently, managers will give only those same servers bigger sections.

Pros

Nice atmosphere Great coworkers Side work is easy when fully staffed

Cons

Management has gone downhill, the perks for working here was little to none and they somehow took that away. They would schedule for you to close late in the evening and then to open early the next day even though they "take work/life balance seriously" as advertised in their job posting. They would have you work through a double shift with no breaks, even when you have to close both shifts and you can see them enjoying their lunch in front of you. They don't respect people's request for time-off and good luck when you get sick or in an emergency because they would expect you to find someone to cover your shift. The customers are not any better, they are very particular with menu items and expect to be spoiled with accommodations and substitutions while they stiffed on the tip. Take home for tips are embarrassing after tip out. This job is more stressful than it should be when anyone can be a secret shopper, being weary of people's food allergies and intolerance, and catching up the menu because it changes every season. It's ridiculous to work for a business that offers a pot of gold that turns out to be fool's gold so don't let them fool you into believing otherwise.
