Pros

-Awesome coworkers -Amazing and transparent management -Amazing benefits ie. bringing your dog to work (who doesn't love that?) health insurance, paid leave, paid bus passes, being able to work from home regularly after your first six months. There's a lot more but those are the perks I enjoy most. Oh and 4 weeks PTO front loaded is pretty awesome too. -A data driven company steered in the right direction with well equipped leadership. -Well implemented tools that assist workers to get their jobs done efficiently and effectively. -Thorough on boarding and training that helps prepare staff to perform in their respective roles. -A ton of opportunity to move up with-in the company. They prefer to promote within. -Open minded and accepting atmosphere for all people from different walks of life.

Cons

None really that I can think of! I love my job and I love everything Trupanion stands for!

Pros

I’ve never felt so valued as an employee. Managers are constantly checking in and making sure you feel heard. All sorts of bonus’ and reward systems built in to benefit you. Everyone’s insanely nice and the dogs in the office are a constant comfort. Hard to have a bad day when you’re surrounded by puppers! :) The job itself is fairly enjoyable as well. There’s a lot of room for critical thinking and empathy. The call center is not scripted so it gives you a lot of room to be yourself.

Cons

The training period is very long. I understand it because there’s a lot of information to take in but I wish I’d been warned a bit more about the 2+ months of training. Like others, I also feel the salary is bit low. We do really difficult work and it would be nice to be compensated a bit more w/o having to rely on fluctuating bonus’. Or at least a bit more transparency about what to expect in terms of salary.

Pros

Great office environment and happy coworkers, open door policy to every manager (even CEO), huge potential to move up and around the company, great benefits and pets in the office. Ability to work anytime 24/7 and choose your own schedule. Large bonus potential and above average pay.

Cons

No remote training and they are based in Seattle/Vancouver.
