Pros

Customers are great! This is pretty much all that is a plus about this customer.

Cons

Machines that employees are expected to use are literally from the Stone Age! The only use of an actual computer that is used is to update a customers passbook savings account and to hold a check. Cash is not immediately posted to a customers account UNLESS they ask for it to be. If they don't, it will post on the next business day! So DO NOT DEPOSIT CASH AFTER 2 pm on Friday because it will not post until Monday night.

The interview process was good, a phone interview then face to face. I interviewed for a part time teller by phone and was then contacted to interview for a branch manager position.

Cons

After interviewing for two positions, I was offered a different position. The job offer for an assistant branch manager, which requires travel to different locations, paid $28,000 a year. Average salary for assistant branch manager in this area is $38,000 a year. They were unwilling to get closer to decent salary. Job offer was not accepted.

Good entry level positions. They are willing give employees opportunities and they generally look fill positions from within.

Cons

Extremely underpaid compared to similar positions within the area/industry. Best opportunity for promotion is in the branch but expectations/pressure by upper management is overwhelming. Once you move to an internal position the opportunity for salary increases becomes much more difficult.
