Pros

It's not a terrible job. I like the people I work with, it's easy, and it could be a good starter job. Many people work here to get experience before moving on to a job that pays better.

Cons

The pay is much less than competing banks in the area, and is the biggest reason people leave--it's not possible to support yourself in upstate NY on a Trustco salary.

Pros

Only manager and Assistant manager have to meet goals. No pressure as most other banks. Some of the products are good compare to some banks.

Cons

Trustco is one of the loweSt pay banks in the US. The bank don't even want to buy surplus for the branches. There is no rise at all and some people in branch administration in Florida is very rude and unprofessional.
