Pros

This company provides my position with every tool needed to be successful. They invested heavily in a state of the art CRM platform. They provide IT support as well as a incredible a Marketing Team . There Benefit plans offered here is second to none. For long term mined employees you not only qualify for a fantastic matching 401 K plan but they also made the commitment to invite all employees to become owners with the ESOP program. In short I am not going anywhere else.

Cons

I wish I started my career sooner with Tuff Shed

Pros

Tuff Shed management empowers the SDC to make decisions in best interest of company and customer. Focus driven on overcoming mistakes and obstacles instead of the mistake and obstacles so we can be proactive and not reactive. Multiple lines if communication are available to you. Team members in other regions that were established prior to mine will collaborate and share their knowledge base. ESOP, 401K, flexible schedule (especially in the NE regions cold winter season). My training week took an unexpected hiccup and it was immediately acknowledged and even if not on site felt I had a team to reach out to or if I could not reach someone and had to do something outside the SOP as long as everyone was looped in, our customers were none the wiser and process went smoothly. Ability to earn above and beyond base pay if you use Energy Management vs Time Management. Adapting to numerous customer behaviors and personalities and their communication preference is key. Keeping your leads. No cold calls unless you want to do so to drive your KPIs.

Cons

With most companies software is ever evolving and we have a lot of ways to connect to one another. Our CRM system Salesforce is one I'm familiar with and I was experienced our last upgrade. It went better than I expected having gone through one launch and upgrade with another company. None so far, most sales jobs don't offer a base which makes selling home improvement or outdoor needs hard in the NE and inconsistent, this allows you to catch up from the busier days and refuel the pipeline (that's not a con). The only con as an SDC is you can be your own worse enemy in this role, no one else.

Thank you for your review and your advice to management. When it comes to sales I can understand how it can be difficult to break away for lunch or a day off. As sales people, we are natural competitors and highly motivated at being high achievers. We want what is best for our customers and our business. After all, when it benefits the business, it benefits our employees. The success shows in our ESOP. Thank you for being the contributor you are for Tuff Shed's overall success.
