It sometimes feels like the various departments don’t coordinate as much as we could, which impacts how effective we are at serving the students.

The public health school admin mess up paychecks frequently, me and many of my cohort have gone months at a time without receiving our funding. We have to consistently nag the various admin departments to get it figured out, and they do not seem to care that you are stressed about living expenses. Our advisors and PI's of our grants even have to go to the Dean's office to beg them to get it sorted. It's unacceptable. No graduate student employee union.
