      Some frustrations, but overall great

      Pros

      The downtown campus pays more than the uptown campus. The benefits are great and the job security is strong. You cannot beat the perk of a tuition waver for yourself, or your kids. There is the usual red tape and frustrations but otherwise it is a great place to work.

      Cons

      Any significant pay increase/promotion only comes with applying, and moving to, a new position within Tulane. INCREDIBLE amounts of red tape from an administrative perspective.

      Pros

      I liked the university overall. There were days we would all go and volunteer or sit in on learning opportunities

      Cons

      The management, which was a director, was awful. They consistently cancelled our meetings and would not even consider the topic of raises for any of her direct reports. I was there for 3 years and never received any increase in pay.
