Pros

Great benefits package and possible stock plan. Company culture is accepting and inviting. Quite a lot of promoting from within for people who deserved it.

Cons

There seems to be a disconnect between the protection department and the rest of the company. Everyone seems to know we existed as the second largest department, but nobody knew what we did. It seemed recruiters, HR and other teams set expectations the department just couldn't handle. It led to burnout of many associates. The salary model for this role can make you feel like work doesn't stop.
