Pros

I absolutely love working for this company. As a University student I really do find the wages very generous. Tutor Doctor does a fantastic job of pairing the tutor (myself) with the families. And I have asked for a raise, and was given one immediately. The tutors themselves are hard working and really put in the time to help the students understand concepts they are struggling with. Tutor Doctor as a company also provides cash incentives for referrals.

-They would like you to notify the company two weeks in advance if you are unable to continue with an assignment. If not they will deduct 4 hours from your pay. Basically, they won't pay you for the work you ALREADY completed. Most sessions are only an hour long, so if you did a supervisor a favor and drove an hr to a student only to tutor for an hr, you better not have an emergency-- or else they won't pay you. -Lower pay than most agencies -Far assignments
