      Pros

      Hours was negotiable so could work around your own schedule. Was perfect for me as a student while at university.

      Cons

      My manager was very inconsistent in the information she was telling you, often I would turn up to students houses without all the information. Once i went to a student's house who had cancelled without being told.

      Pros

      You get to feel good that you are genuinely helping kids with areas they are struggling in. You still get paid for the hour if your student fails to show up.

      Cons

      The management does not have much interest in setting you up with enough clients to make it worth it. Also, I was somewhat pressured to sign up for tutoring jobs that were not my specialty at all (I told them I could teach middle school - college level English and middle school - high school level Biology, and they tried to have me teach a student college level Statistics.
