      Good job/company overall, but the system by which they assign you students needs work

      Responsive and competent management that matches you with clients/tutees, excellent virtual tutoring platform, lots of tutoring requests

      Cons

      You have to constantly pitch yourself to prospective students/clients even though you have already given the company a thorough description of your background and qualifications

      The mid-level staff is very attentive and caring

      Cons

      This company is a joke run by people who only care about the bottom line. The top management has no background in education, and they don't care to understand what tutors and students need. Their only goal is to make as much money as possible and they aren't afraid to exploit whoever they need to. This looks like low pay, zero benefits, and an unrealistically demanding workload. Beware! They are dishonest and the business has questionable practices.

      It's good pay for a part time job. The structure of the day is good

      Cons

      not a lot of organization. Barely any training was given and I was supposed to figure out how the day works on the job. They also don't pay for training they had us do.
