Pros

Flexible scheduling and communication between upper-level management and your mentor. The work is very rewarding, and most of the students are very nice. This is one of the only tutoring jobs where you schedule yourself, work online, and the software is fairly easy to learn. Also, you do not need a college degree to work here. This makes this an ideal part-time job for college students. It also helps solidify basic skills learned in the subject areas which you tutor.

Cons

Not paid very much comparatively; Some students are a pain. There is not much incentive to doing a great job.

Pros

It's wonderful to be able to set my own schedule at Tutor.com. I am also very impressed with the great feedback given to its employees by their mentors. Training was very detailed and well done and they have a wonderful support system in the form of their mentors. Finally, it is very rewarding to work for Tutor.com and actually help students who are in need of help right away..

Cons

Pay is a bit low for what we do, cannot schedule enough hours.
