Great tech stack, really easy to get working Cool Office Great food Cookies Lots to build and learn at the L4-L5 and even L6 level

Cons

Always scrambling to "make profit" over building things the users want From the ground level, looks like the CEO isn't really doing much other than streaming (and maybe trying to figure out what Twitch is about) Lots of layers of middle management for a company that hasn't really changed since 2016. The app is small, with like, 5 things on it, yet, working across org boundaries feels like a geopolitical feat. Product, Eng, Design, Research all work in their own silos with no one to provide guidance. Everyone has a say, which means nothing gets done.

The work life balance is great. The pay is good. The culture internally is very positive. After the layoffs of ~60% of the employees, it's gone from a great place to work to still being okay.

Cons

Twitch is very unclear in its direction. Upper management is poor. You're able to accomplish much less after Twitch laid off 60% of the workforce. It's becoming more and more influenced by Amazon every year.
