a good place to work if you have no ambitions
Pros
friendly culture, HR is always ready to help you if you are experiencing any personal or family problems one can do absolutely nothing and get alone with it as long as you are a part of the "family" friendly culture for fresh graduates (but not so friendly when the business is underperforming or you are an experience hire with your own opinion) a good place to work if you are okay with doing exactly what you've been told to do and being paid accordingly (not good, not bad), expressing your thoughts and questioning the importance of the project is not encouraged
Cons
promotion and work allocation solely depends on your relationship with your manager and his manager, there are people who do nothing and get promoted because they are convenient to promote for incompetent middle and upper management. compensation is by far not the best on the street there is a lot of politics between engineering and modeling organizations middle and upper management do not seem to have expertise in business, but tend to be very nice to subordinates up until the PnL gets bad. It seems the result of the period of easy money, when many people got their positions solely on interpersonal skills and "lucky performance" performance is measured based on simulations rather than actual production, many people abuse it to "improve" their performance
