Good at marketing, mediocre at execution

Pros

The company has a good reputation, driven largely by its own marketing efforts. There are a few good engineers, and the company is willing to support engineering projects.

Cons

Overall poor quality management and mediocre at executing on engineering problems. Engineering managers generally aren't strong technically, or good at project management, causing a lot of poor decisions to be made made, which shows in the tech stack. The company is also very secretive and untrustworthy of employees, so it's hard to learn and collaborate with others.

Pros

Laid back, lots of perks

Cons

Too big, too fast. Lost sight of what was important and retained the talent.
