Pros

Only 5 days a month in office. Snacks. Dual desk monitors

Cons

The team dynamic is one of having to tip toe around people. Some allow their ego to get the best of them. There is no benefit if you are contract and company can keep you in contract for years, so don't think after 6 months you'll earn a permanent title. Watch your back. Leaders would benefit from additional training and development.

Pros

Any one who has to bring their Chief of Staff from one org to the next - in the same exact role - is someone who doesn’t value diversity of thought. Danger danger danger. Run, don’t walk.

Brilliant people, big problems, serious tooling—pace can be intense

Pros

World-class colleagues across research, engineering, and product; you learn something every week. Excellent data/tooling: well-maintained datasets, robust infra, and strong internal libraries. Compensation and benefits are top-tier; thoughtful perks and professional development budget. Real impact: ideas ship to production and can measurably move P&L. Culture prizes rigor and kindness—code reviews are tough but respectful.

Cons

Fast cycles and high bar can feel relentless; work-life balance varies by team and market events. Prioritization sometimes opaque; cross-team alignment can lag behind ambition. Getting anything into prod requires navigating strict controls—great for safety, slower for iteration. Not much hand-holding; self-starters thrive, others may struggle.
