Pros

Academic environment, colleagues willing to help you. Good technology infrastructure which fosters a seamless research environment. That said, if you join, understand which team you'll be entering since it will have an impact on your upward mobility.

Cons

Siloed, many teams still hold many details of their work to themselves as is typical within the industry. Upper management seems hesitant to have employees return back to the office.
