      Run fast! Dont let them fool you with a nice building

      Pros

      The pay was good. Nothing else

      Cons

      The support manager is horrible. They have no regard for your family, health or well being. They will make you traveling like a dog and threaten your employment if you dont. The support managers treat you like children and do not like employees with experience then them and feel threatened. They will belittle you and ask illegal questions about your healthcare privacy and family status

      Pros

      Tyler has good work/life balance. You do not need to work more than 40 hours a week to be successful there. Lots of kind and friendly staff make this a good place for a junior engineer to start off their career and get programming experience. Decent amount of vacation time.

      Cons

      Pay is very low compared to almost any other tech company. Some divisions of Tyler use very old and decrepit technology, and others use modern technology, but you don't know what you're going to get until you're hired. Company culture is boomer-ish and stodgy.

      Pros

      Health care benefit is pretty good. Like all big companies some people love it and some people do not.

      Cons

      Nepotism and friendship promotions run rampant. Executive leadership ignores the warning flags. They explain away the massive turnover by averaging the numbers when the trend is evident. You can not run a business by the numbers alone!
