      Pros

      - Everyone is highly motivated - Plenty of chances to dive in and make a difference - Open environment where all input is welcomed - And of course, the chance to work in a cutting edge field where you get to help build a new high tech industry from the ground up

      Cons

      No real cons. I will say, being around some of the smartest people in the world is a big change if you've never encountered this sort of environment before. Prepare to be humbled and strive to improve yourself.

      The people here are fantastic to work with. Everyone is working towards the common goal to bring clean energy to the grid.

      The benefits could be better. The company partners with a provider and the number of options is overwhelming.

      * Many opportunities for growth career-wise and academically * Very interesting and challenging work to do * Above standard pay with good benefits * Very good hybrid policy * Very employee friendly (they listen to any concerns) * Leadership open to criticism * Leadership is very well connected in the plasma physics world (easy to network since the company has a wide reach) * Leadership is available to help in any way they can * Employees are friendly and driven

      Cons

      Not specific to this company but to all start-ups in general. At times pressure can be intense to meet deadlines because if a start-up doesn't meet deadlines, it makes it a lot harder to get funding.
