Pros

The mission of the company to develop a commercial fusion energy source is one of the most exciting and impactful things I've done. The team is packed with amazing, accomplished people from diverse backgrounds. The company is young but growing quickly, which creates lots of opportunity to grow with it.

Cons

The company is young and developing many of the processes/policies that mature companies already have - so some basic tasks can be frustrating.

Pros

They have a clear goal to make commercial fusion happen and are going after it. Leadership is approachable and responsive and also open to new ideas. They have multiple offices, which makes it easy for talent to decide where to work based on their situation. I'm excited to see where this company will be in five years! They will do great things, and I want to be here and part of it when they happen.

Cons

The company is still in its infancy, and many things are being developed as we live them, which is not necessarily a con; it's just the way it is with start-up companies, after all.

Pros

1. Working towards fusion and clean energy 2. Fast paced and driven (things get done without a lot of drama for the most part) 3. Get to build a lab from the ground up 4. Good treatment of employees and no hassle with Visa Sponsorship 5. Competitive salary

Cons

1. Not a lot of benefits that you would get from established firms 2. Has a bit of chaos, that is slowly being ironed out, but takes time 3. Offices in various states, and sometimes the decision making is slowed down by factors not in your or your boss's control 4. Top heavy pyramid (not a lot of engineers for an engineering firm right now)
